Be helpful, not hurtful

Don’t Use ResidentCentral FOR POLITiCAL AGENDAS!
ResidentCentral is a communication platform that allows neighbors to collaborate and get stuff done like never before. However, political campaigning, causes that are pushed too hard and personal views on controversial issues will likely create contentious conversations that are NOT the purpose of ResidentCentral. We rely on our members to report those who are campaigning or ranting about controversial, non-community issues.
Promote local commerce the right way
On ResidentCentral, we encourage members to share helpful information about their favorite parks, restaurants, businesses and more – as we believe a recommendation for someone you know is much more powerful than “blind reviews” offered on other review sites. However, both personal and business profiles have important limitations on the kinds of content they can post in the updates section or through reviews. We encourage honest opinions for ResidentCentral members but not personal agendas towards any individual or business.
Use your true identity
ResidentCentral is a utility for you and the people who live in your immediate community. To that end, using your true identity and honestly representing yourself is a fundamental (and mandatory) part of being a member.
